In 1993, after helping create one of the first large-scale Intranets connecting 25,000 employees at BASF, Bill wrote the second book about the Internet, Using the Internet. Bill has written ten books which have sold over 1 million copies including best-sellers The Complete Idiots Guide to Online Marketing and Using the World Wide Web.
Bill has helped some of the world's leading companies including Discover, Kaiser Permanente, Novartis, RE/MAX, Travelocity and Verizon with their online e-business communication strategies to increase revenues, improve productivity and enhance communications with employees and customers. Bill founded a web development company that was eventually sold to Oracle; and on the board of directors of a company sold to Travelocity.
