It was an eventful performance in the United States that led Martin to encounter Joe Bodolai, the producer of the iconic Saturday Night Live. Joe would go on to become Martin's head writer in regards to his English career and shows.
In 1999, Martin performed for Larry King's -- Cardiac Foundation Gala where upon watching his performance the CNN personality remarked: "This guy is a Must-See. He is a star."
While performing at the Bâle Festival in Switzerland, the Moulin Rouge manager hired him for a serious of 67 English shows in Paris! "The manager, forced himself to only speak English with me", Martin recalls. Eventually, Martin realized that on certain nights the audience, usually composed of tourists, contained more locals; as such, he adjusted by inserting imitations of Francis Cabrel and Édith Piaf, French singing stars, to the approval of the diverse audiences. The performances gradually evolved into a bilingual and bi-cultural experience to the delight of everyone in attendance.
Amongst Martin's more memorable career highlights are the Co-hosting of the pre-Gala at the 75th Oscar Ceremonies in Beverly Hills with celebrated Actress, Kate Hudson in 2003.

In June 2013, after 20 years spent touring the world, Martin returns home to launch his brand new show: "TIME MACHINE".
