Legacy: Passing on Cherished Values in a Values-Starved World.
What do a mountain climber, a cellist, a NASA flight director, an ex-convict and a former schizophrenic have in common? Two things. All are leaders who have made a positive difference in the world and they, along with 20 other outstanding Americans, are profiled in Legacy: Passing on Cherished Values in a Values-Starved World.
During 2008-2009 as the world economy teetered on the brink of financial collapse, concerns mounted about America's declining values and leadership in the world. Day after day the media related stories of amoral Wall Street bankers, out-of-touch CEOs, womanizing politicians, drug-doping athletes and over-the-top talk show hosts and their enraged listeners. Vince Reardon, a former print and radio business reporter, found 25 men and women of true distinction, not celebrities but real people, who held themselves to a higher standard of conduct.
Legacy: Passing on Cherished Values in a Values-Starved World is the result of his efforts.
