It is a pleasure to introduce today's speaker, Dr. Kenneth Blanchard.
Ken's impact as a writer is far reaching. His phenomenal best-selling book The One-Minute Manager, co-authored with Spencer Johnson, has sold more than nine million copies worldwide and is regarded as one of the most successful business books of all time. Other best sellers include five more within the One Minute Manager library: The Power of Ethical Management, with Dr. Norman Vincent Peale and Raving Fans: A Revolutionary Approach to Customer Service, with Sheldon Bowles. In 1995 Everyone's A Coach, co-authored with Don Shula; former head coach of the Miami Dolphins hit the lists. In 1996, Empowerment Takes More Than A Minute with Alan Randolph and John Carlos; Managing By Values with Michael O'Connor and Mission Possible-, Creating A World Class Organization with Terry Waghorn made their way to best-seller lists. His latest book Gung Ho, co-authored with Sheldon Bowles is currently climbing the bestseller lists.

Dr. Blanchard is Chief Spiritual Office of The Ken Blanchard Companies, a full-service 'management training and consulting company which he and his wife, Dr. Marjorie Blanchard, founded in 1979 in San Diego, California. He is also a visiting lecturer at his alma mater, Cornell University, where he is a trustee emeritus of the Board of Trustees.
