Geoff is Chairman & CEO of ghSMART, the management assessment firm for CEOs and investors, which he founded in 1995.
ghSMART has offices across North America. Highly satisfied clients include the world’s largest private equity investors, Fortune 500 CEOs, and billionaire entrepreneurs. ghSMART’s client impact has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, Fortune, Buyouts, CNBC’s Squawk Box, and in a forthcoming Harvard Business School Case Study on the firm. Geoff is co-author of the forthcoming book Who: The A Method for Hiring (Random House, 2008). He is co-creator of the Topgrading® philosophy of talent management. Geoff is a member of Young Presidents’ Organization. He is a volunteer and sponsor of Junior Achievement, which is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to promote an understanding of business and entrepreneurship in children.
Geoff earned a B.A. in Economics with Honors from Northwestern University, an M.A., and a Ph.D. in Psychology from Claremont Graduate University, where he was a student of management guru Peter F. Drucker.
