Dr. Barry Asmus has been named by USA Today as one of the five most requested speakers in the United States.

He is a Senior Economist with the prestigious National Center for Policy Analysis that advocates Free Market business solutions worldwide.

Barry was twice voted Professor of the Year and was also honored with the Freedom Foundation Award at Valley Forge for Private Enterprise Education.

Dr. Asmus speaks, writes and consults on policy, business and economic issues facing America. He has testified before the House Ways and Means Committee. He was a featured speaker at the Social Security Conference for Western European leaders and has traveled frequently to Romania to discuss privatization and market-based solutions on behalf of NCPA.

A major highlight of Dr. Asmus’ twenty plus years on the speaking platform was the invitation from Lee Iacocca to write and deliver the “Tribute to America” speech at the re-dedication of the Statute of Liberty.
