AV Needs

To optimize the impact of Amanda’s presentation, CLIENT needs to provide the following:

A wireless lavaliere microphone (if more than 15 people), stage – high enough for everyone to see her face and body, full house lights and a full stage wash (that means bright light in the room and especially on the stage!), a simple chair on the stage, a whiteboard or flip chart with pens, and a CD player that can plug into the house system and either have a audiovisual technician available or have it accessible by Amanda.

If Amanda is speaking after dinner or at lunch, please ensure that people are not eating and that all table service is stopped during her presentation – otherwise people choke as they laugh and eat!!

Please arrange the seating in curved theatre style – this dramatically enhances the presentation outcome! After 10 years of speaking full time, the number one process factor I believe influences the group dynamics is the way the room is set up. If you want people to bond together and feel a team spirit, set the room up theatre style - people sitting in rows of chairs curved around the stage or central presenting point. Please use side aisles rather than a central one.
