A former Major Leaguer, Jay's career spanned 20 years with eight different teams. He won the 1966 American League Rookie of the Year with the California Angels. He played on eight divisional champions and earned four World Series rings. Known as a prankster on and off the field, Jay wrote about his escapades in three hilarious books, two of which became bestsellers. He hosted the "Lighter Side of Sports" and "Baseball's Funniest Pranks" and was a radio broadcaster for the New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies.

Jay has also narrated several videos, including the award-winning "The Hitter's Commandments." Every January on Martin Luther King Day, he hosts the Annual Jay Johnstone Charity/Celebrity Golf Tournament, which raises money for local children's charities. He travels the country as a speaker at both corporate and social events and participates in baseball clinics, fantasy camps and charity golf tournaments. He currently works for FOX as a TV broadcaster and is the Team Relations Director for the Continental Baseball League.
