I grew up playing Texas High School Football and my dream was to one day play in the NFL. That dream came true at 22 years old, but by age 26, I had been cut three times, lost $2.6 million dollars in NFL contracts and blew out my knee (torn ACL and meniscus). With my first dream clearly dead…I had to embrace change, stare fear in the face and learn how to dream BIG again! I began a new career as a bobsledder for Team USA. In professional sports, they call age 30 old, but it was at this point I became a United States Olympian! I competed in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia and traveled the world with Team USA competing in Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Russia and Switzerland. Only three people have played in the NFL and competed in the Winter Olympics.
This powerful message engages the audience to think outside of the box to accomplish their dreams, anticipate unexpected opportunities and understand that failure is not fatal; rather a springboard to success.

During the Sochi Olympics, I got stuck in my Olympic Village bathroom and had to break down the door. The picture of the busted bathroom door went viral and has been retweeted over 27,000 times and seen by an estimated 10 million people around the world! I have been featured on ABC, CNN, CBS, Good Morning America, NBC Olympics, Fox Sports, TIME, USA Today and many other media and news outlets around the world. I earned a spot to compete on the popular TV show, American Ninja Warrior, picked up an endorsement deal from McDonald's and even trained with a S.W.A.T. team. They showed me how to break down a door the right way with a battering ram!
This interactive presentation will guide the audience through the "ins and outs" of social media responsibility and how to use their digital platform to their advantage. We will look at, and dissect, industry leaders and "the flops" when it comes to posting online content. It is important to understand that what people and brands post online today can, and will, affect their relationship with clients and customers. Their online content can also affect opportunities down the road with future employers. Below are four sample slides of the platforms we will tackle.
