For 20 years, Jeff Peters has been the official Dave Letterman lookalike for the "Late Show with David Letterman." He appears on the Late Show (over 50 times) as the character Dave calls, "the guy who kinda looks like me."
Jeff's appearances include: standing by backstage in case something goes wrong, finally closing the show when Dave mysteriously went down backstage, presenting a birthday cake to Dave's Mom Dorothy in Indiana, being a Dave decoy for assassins, camp counselor at "Dave's Talk Show Camp for Kids", the star of "The Late Show on Ice", official greeter at The Late Show employee Thanksgiving dinner, portraying Dave at the Grammy's as a young Kiss fan, and signing autographs at The Late Show Fan Fest. Most recently, Jeff accepted the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Television Critics Association on behalf of Dave.
