As an independent contractor since 1984, Ivory has witnessed unprecedented change in the American workplace. Competition is driving the way we do business and we must govern ourselves accordingly. She believes that Universal Appeal is the only real competitive strategy to be undertaken by individuals and organizations if we are to be competitive. Ivory is a multi-dimensional nationally known Speaker, Trainer, Author and Facilitator bringing broad-based expertise derived from more than 20 years of diverse assignments. Ivory`s background includes 10 years with Xerox Corporation in Houston and Dallas, Texas, as well as Atlanta. Prior to Xerox, Ivory was a Business Education Teacher, and a Support Professional.

Ivory was a standing guest host of a local Atlanta radio talk show, and also to her credit, she has hosted a show entitled: Compelling Realities in the Changing Workplace, broadcast from Providence, R.I. Ivory is an active leader in numerous professional organizations. She is a member of the National and Georgia Speakers Association, the American Society of Training and Development, the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Atlanta, etc. She is a Past President of the Greater Atlanta Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development. She has been featured on several Television Programs and contributes articles to several Major Publications. She served on the Advisory Board for the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce Partners In Business and Education Advisory Board, the 1995 Director of the Annual Speakers School for the Georgia Chapter of the National Speakers Association, and as past Vice-Chairwoman of the Governor`s Small and Minority Business Advisory Committee under Governor Joe Frank Harris. Ivory served on the Core Training Team for the Atlanta Project led by President Jimmy Carter, and the Overall Chairperson for the 1993 "Arts Alive" event sponsored annually by the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, and 1994 Nominations Chairwoman for the Boy Scouts of America. She was recognized as the 2000 Distinguished Former Resident by the DeQuincy Chamber of Commerce in Louisiana. She is also involved in other professional and business associations.

Ivory`s honors include: 2005 Leadership Award from Delta Sigma Theta, Included in the 2005 issue of Who`s Who in Black Atlanta, among other honors. Past awards include: The 1998 Distinguished Alumni Award from Southern University, The 1995 Atlanta Area Alumnus Achievers in Business from Southern University, The 1994 G. Leon Netterville Alumni Award in Business from Southern University. She is also the recipient of the 1991 Trailblazer Award For Enhancing The Status of Women by the Top Ladies of Distinction. Among many Who`s Who inductions, she is a member of Sterling Who`s Who. She is the recipient of the 1994 Professional Development award from the American Society for Training and Development. Ivory is a business education graduate of Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and a graduate of Leadership Atlanta, class of 1990.
