Biography

Sue Hershkowitz-Coore, CSP has spoken before more than a million people across the USA and in seven international venues. An author and entrepreneur, Sue brings best of best practices based both on her academic background, including a fellowship sponsored by the University of California at Berkeley and a Masters degree in Counseling (ASU), as well as her constant field research. Sue's latest book, Power Sales Writing, was released by McGraw-Hill in 2003 and has been translated into 3 languages—and counting! Sue brings experience and humor to every platform.

For over 20 years, Sue Hershkowitz-Coore, CSP has been helping people improve the way they communicate to get the results, respect and recognition they deserve. She has presented intensive training programs for sales people, meeting professionals, health care workers, financial service providers, corporate leaders, association executives and government officials. These practical and fun workshops have consistently resulted in improved results, with significant savings of time, energy and stress!

Sue's motivational keynotes have contributed to the success of thousands of people. Her mixture of inspirational and humorous personal stories with universal principles of success have prompted some of her clients to invite her back more than a dozen times!
Sue has authored and published two books: Power Sales Writing (McGraw-Hill, 2003) and Dog Tales for the Heart (High Impact Publishing). Power Sales Writing has been released in 3 languages. Sought after as a contributing author, Sue's articles have appeared in The Best on Success, The Best on Customer Service and more than 30 magazines and industry publications including Selling Power, Entrepreneur, and The Meeting Manager.
An entrepreneur, author and internationally known speaker, Sue started her own speaking and training company in 1978. She has worked extensively in the meetings and hospitality communities with companies and affiliated industry organizations such as: Hyatt, Marriott, Ritz Carlton, Destination Hotels & Resorts, PCMA, IACVB, IAEM, SITE, SGMP, NCBMP, CSAE (Canadian), and MPI. Sue has also worked with financial and insurance service providers including: Bank One, UBS/PaineWebber, Merrill Lynch, Prudential, Foremost, CUNA, Guardian and Union Banks, AICPA, Million Dollar Round Table - Top of the Table, and many others. Additionally, Sue's clients include associations ranging from the American Heart Association to the National Fleet Association to the US Tennis Association, and corporations as diverse as FedEx, Johnson & Johnson and Bell South.

Sue's accomplishments include election to two terms as a member and officer of the National Speakers Association Board of Directors, member of the Women's Leadership Initiative Committee, Meeting Professional Advisory Committee member and Meeting News Advisory Council. Sue co-founded the Arizona Meetings Industry Council, served two terms as president of the AZ chapter of the National Speakers Association, and is currently vice chair of the NSA Meetings Industry Council and NSA/IASB council.

Sue lives in Scottsdale, AZ with her husband, Bill, and their springer spaniel, Buster! Sue's son, Michael, is a sales professional with Ranger American, a subsidiary of ADT.
Sue holds two yellow belts in the martial art of Aikido, hikes and works out as often as she can, is a Mac user, maintains elite Platinum status with both American and America West/US Airways airlines because of her extensive work travel schedule, and is a member of the National Speakers Association and Meetings Professional International.
