She has written over 100 articles and produced 20 audio/video training programs. She is creator and host of two National Public Television Specials.

Dr. Bethel has worked on projects with four U.S. Presidents' and was appointed to the Board of Advisor's for America's Promise - The Alliance for Youth, by Secretary of State Colin L. Powell, the Founding Chairman.
