Biography

On the field, coaching from the sidelines, or commentating for NBC Sports, Mike Ditka brings deep conviction and street smart confidence to everything he does. Ditka knows how to reach maximum performance and, more important, knows how to inspire it in others. In his first year in the NFL, he nailed 56 passes for the Chicago Bears and earned Rookie of the Year honors. Twenty years later, after seasons with the Eagles and the Cowboys, he returned to the Bears as head coach and guided the team to six NFC title games and as astounding Super Bowl victory.

Today, Ditka shares his team-building, triumph-inspiring skills in his presentation ACE: Attitude, Character and Enthusiasm. A regular on late night talk shows and network newscasts, he appeared as himself on L.A. Law and Cheers and saw his team immortalized in Saturday Night Live’s series of skits, “ Da Bears.”
