Lessons From the Best... and Others Incorporating today's front page headlines into the client's theme and objectives for their event, serve as a back drop and reflection for the client's audience to see similar issues, decisions, actions, and results they are facing through the experiences of the worlds most distinguished companies Ex: If the client is in the midst of restructuring their organization, companies in their industry who have recently experienced a restructuring would be used to illustrate the most successful decisions and why, and the major missteps and how to avoid them. At times, high profile organizations such as Wal-Mart, or Disney, or Ford might also be used to reinforce the concepts presented and stimulate dialog. Clients select this program for a departure from the lecture or canned presentation. Lessons…is constantly updated and is as current as the morning newspaper and breaking news. The client's issues are at the forefront of the presentation with global events serving only as vignettes to reinforce the information presented and the client's message. Audiences "click" when they hear their issues being dealt with by other organizations, the steps the "others" took, and the results of those actions. An armchair quarterback program with a twist, the audience is also playing the same reality on their own field and, just possibly, might be able to avoid the mistakes made by others. Very revealing to all. Go For the Kill, Avoid Being the Prey Shadow, Observe, Attack, Mask, Protect. Techniques to secure the "core" business at all costs; while, continuing to encourage risk-taking, innovation, perspective and balance. Too often, when organizations are considering expansion and growth they fail to prepare for the response from their competitors. Most companies allow an upstart to take a little business as long as they remember who owns the territory, niche or market. Unfortunately, the up-start rarely stops there. They want more. In the pursuit of more they irritate a competitor who must decide whether to buy them or crush them. The upstart failed to go for the kill. They became the prey. Without a defense they are overwhelmed by the competition. Stripped of all resources. Or, no offense. Not prepared should they strike it rich by out positioning the competition, gaining traction and creating their niche. They were not ready to go for the kill. Go For the Kill outlines the strategy, tactics, resources and implementations required to avoid becoming another's prey as the company builds their business and invades others. The program hits hard at executive tolerance for internal tension, disagreement, hostility and positioning as the leadership seeks alignment to dominate the competition. This program hits the mark to arouse audiences to superior commitment and performance. People take on a responsibility to own the success of the organization and to protect it now and in the future. Electricity travels through the room. The Business Battleground A line has been drawn. The battle is underway. The Business Battleground has been established. The battle is on. The battle for business. The battle for "winners." The battle for market share. The battle for effective leaders. The battle for new ideas. The battle for the customer. Most organizations were caught off guard or poorly prepared when the battle began. Now is the opportunity to regain the traction necessary to engage and prevail. Six Tactics which, when implemented effectively, will accelerate Business Dominance and Individual Achievement. The Tactic of Communication(Mood Sense, Mood Effect). The Tactic of The Jungle. The Tactic of Space. The Tactic of Social Order. The Tactic of The Group. The Tactic of Adaptation. Respect and be influenced by the Tactics, you will prevail. Ignore the Tactics, you are dust now, just waiting for the shovel. A view of your organization and its' likelihood to win or lose the battle will be presented with recommended actions. Business principles supported by intriguing examples of animal behavior in the wild add to the energy and excitement of this program. The acceleration of the cheetah. The strength of the Lion. The canniness of the Zebra, the resolve of the Hyena. Examples are given and correlations provided. This unique approach to business takes the audience to places they rarely go for an exciting and stimulating learning adventure. Audiences talk up the program for months. It's More Than Leadership Debunks the "Theories," "Habits," "Characteristics," and "Secrets." that are looking for a home in the popular leadership books of the day. An outstanding format to reinforce leadership and open up a broad platform of business topics. Provides the audience with a uniforce approach to filter leadership static, and to identify the leadership characteristics unique to the organization. The Rise and Fall Cycles Within Organizations and the People Who Lead Them What goes up does not need to come down. Unfortunately, developing and maintaining high performing organizations or individuals, projects or teams, is among the most difficult challenges in business and in life. The Rise and Fall… will present the stages of progression for any task or person and the performance elements necessary to increase the probability of successand avoid regression. A revealing snapshot of the organization's current stage of development and the performance elements required to achieve and maintain optimum results will be presented. This program provides the edge for those who lead by influence and example. The information offers a step by step plan to take people and organizations to their highest level of achievement and manage the systems to sustain excellence through the years. The Images of Leadership What are the most significant characteristics of effective leaders? Which skills do they use most often? This program is a Classic in every sense of the word. Any organization that does not offer Images is sending its leaders off at a disadvantage to succeed. The program is art in action. Leaders throughout the world have demanded Images. A must for everyone. Knowing When It's Time To Go... Now Get Out! Coming face-to-face with your own performance. Successful or not, the job is done. Should you stay or should you go? If successful, you want to hang around to enjoy the recognition and applause. If you have failed, you want one more opportunity to prove to the others and yourself that you can do it. What to do? Best for you. Best for others. Knowing When It's Time... was developed in response to requests from many of Mr. Tyson's clients to offer a program to help people identify when they should put the organization and the interest of others first, and to move on to other challenges. The examples of those who have stepped aside is as vivid as those who have not. The TV actor who has multiple Emmys withdraws from consideration for others to be acknowledged. The boxing champion who retires for others to move up and crown a new champion. The high school football player who sits out the season for another to play. Unfortunately, there is also the corporate executive who remains too long and buries the company. The military general who sacrifices his troops for his personal recognition. This program presents a strong message of selflessness, teamwork, perspective and personal development. Audiences appreciate this program for addressing a reality everyone will face in business and in life. The examples and insights provide leaders with the strength and confidence to face a very sensitive issue. A great deal of soul searching takes place. Why Would Anyone Follow You? Think about it. Your answer might surprise you. Most leaders should not lead. They were moved onto the leadership track in order to continue up the organization. Once in leadership and the luster wears off, leadership becomes a force beyond most mortals. At some point the new leader must ask, "Why would anyone follow me?" There lies the dilemma. you cannot appeal to everyone; however, it helps if you appeal to most. Why Would Anyone... will provide the audience with the opportunity to discover their leadership characteristics and the effect those characteristics have on those they lead. They will learn their natural leadership tendencies, and how to magnify their strengths and minimize the difficulties they create. The insights mystify and mesmerize the audience. So much is revealed in so little time. The people can't wait to get back to the workplace and implement some of the new leadership techniques they have experienced.
