Biography

Considered by many to be the greatest catcher ever, Johnny Bench led the Cincinnati Reds to two world- championship titles in the 1970’s. A two-time MVP, fourteen-time All-Star, and ten-time Golden Glove recipient, this Hall-of-Famer holds the Major League record for most home runs (327) by a catcher. Today, he devotes his time to charitable work, speaking engagements, sports broadcasting, hosting television programs, and golfing on the PGA Senior circuit. No matter what his endeavor, he remains a symbol of winning through hard work.
