Biography

John Costigan, President and Founder of John Costigan Companies, conducts motivational speeches and "LIVE" sales training classes around the world for a list of clients that reads like a `who`s who` in the corporate world; Hewlett Packard, Oracle, Daiichi Sankyo, Lenovo, SAS Software, Experian, Tommy Hilfiger, IBM, The NHL, and over 50 Colleges and Professional Sports teams.

On a $100.00 bet from his oldest brother who said he couldn`t do it, he started the company with a strong belief that training is most effective when performed "LIVE," with real phone calls into real prospects handling real objections in front of a real audience.

In 2005 John was asked to perform a motivational speech for a kick off event with an existing client. It became the highest rated speaking engagement in their history. Since that time his widely acclaimed speech, "The Top 5 Things That Successful People Do" has been a huge hit from Bangalore, India to Banff, Canada.

Being number 5 in a line of 6 children and losing his father at the age of 9 didn`t stop John from going after his dream of playing professional basketball. Beating all the odds and proving his critics wrong, his determination landed him a career in which he played professionally for 2 years. John applies that same passion and determination now by helping others achieve their personal and professional goals and has been called "The next Tony Robbins without the fluff."

John holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Northern Illinois University. He sits on the Board of Directors for Excellence in the Field of Sales at his alma mater, supports a variety of cancer and children`s charities and is the father of two beautiful children.
