Biography

Political impressionist Jim Morris has all authority figures headed for the hills. The rubber-faced Morris has become famous as a living political cartoon, aping his subjects with dead-on accuracy.

He discovered the potential powers of his craft while attending high school, where one day (as the principal) he issued an unauthorized "early dismissal" over the public address system. (All students were dismissed earlier than Jim, on that particular day.)

Jim goes far beyond mimicry, and well into the realm of the absurd! His critically acclaimed, one-man press conferences showcase his eerily precise impressions of President George W. Bush, and former Presidents Clinton, Bush and Reagan, as well as past and future "wanna-be"s (Kerry, Edwards, Sharpton, Gore, Dole, Schwartzenegger, etc.)

Audiences have raved over Jim's spot-on impressions of today's major newscasters, newsmakers and entertainers. The NEW YORKER recently hailed him as: "...arguably the country‚s leading political impressionist." (9/06/04)

He has starred in comedy specials airing on ABC, CBS, Cinemax and HBO, appeared on the Tonight Show, CNN's Crossfire, and Larry King Live, and he provides the voices for "The EX-PRESIDENTS", the critically acclaimed cartoon on Saturday Night Live.

Jim has also triumphed in several face-to-face encounters with the subjects of his humor! Scenes of battle have included historic Ford's Theater ("A Gala Salute to the President"), the White House Correspondents Dinner, and even...inside the Oval Office!
