Jeff Blackman

Biography

Jeff is a speaker, author, success coach, broadcast personality and lawyer. He heads Blackman & Associates—a creative communications firm in the Chicagoland area. His clients call him, a "business-growth specialist." For example, his customized "Referrals: Your Road to Results" learning-system, helped one client—generate in 23 months, new business directly attributable to referrals, of $230 million!

For over two decades, Jeff has shared his positive and profit-producing messages with numerous; Fortune 500 companies, closely-held businesses, entrepreneurial driven organizations, solo practitioners and association audiences throughout the world.

As a radio and TV talk-show host, some of Jeff's guests have been; Oprah Winfrey, Ted Koppel, Jerry Seinfeld, Marcel Marceau, astronaut Jim Lovell and Olympic gold medalists Bruce Jenner and Dan Jansen.

Jeff is a Contributing Editor to numerous magazines. And, his books include; Opportunity $elling®, RESULT$ and Peak Your Profits—which was also published in Malaysia and Singapore, and selected by Fast Track—as one of "the best business books on tape." In the Spring, 2002—The Results Collection™ published an upgraded 2nd edition of RESULT$, as well as Carpe A.M. o Carpe P.M. – Seize Your Destiny. Jeff’s next book is titled: What Were You Thinking? - Making the Right Choices. Doing the Right Thing.

As an audio-author, Jeff's results-oriented strategies were featured on Nightingale-Conant's cassette program Sound Selling. And, POPP Publishing released and distributes Jeff's audio-cassette business-growth system: Opportunity $elling® - Six Profit-Producing Steps to Multiply Your Earnings. Jeff has also written and hosts two video learning-systems published by JWA Video; Profitable Customer Service and How to Set and Really Achieve Your Goals. All of these programs, are distributed worldwide.

Jeff is also a member of NSA - the National Speakers Association. And, he is one of less than ten percent of professional speakers to receive the coveted CSP or Certified Speaking Professional designation from NSA.

Jeff graduated with honors from both the University of Illinois and the Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago Kent College of Law. He is also; a happy husband, devoted father, avid softball player and a loyal, but often depressed Chicago Cubs fan!
