Biography

Heather Shea Schultz is the Managing Partner of the Canaan Consulting Group, a global consulting firm that specializes in leadership, mentoring, sales and customer service training. She is the former President and Chief Operating Officer of the Tom Peters Company, with whom she currently works as a strategic partner. She is also Executive Director of the Canaan Foundation, a not-for-profit organization focused on African economic development through the delivery and installation of computers in rural Kenya. Heather Shea Schultz brings over 25 years of solid business experience. From transformational leadership to meaningful mentoring, from operational excellence to legendary customer service and organizational development, she knows what it takes to make a company work...and what it takes for people to want to work there. As Director of Marketing for Andersen Consulting, now Accenture, responsible for all integrated marketing and advertising programs worldwide. As Director of International Marketing for First Chicago, now Bank One, she was responsible for worldwide marketing programs. She started her business career with the bank in Panama and relocated to world headquarters in Chicago. As Regional Sales Director for CIGNA Health Care, she led the region from worst to best performer in fourteen months. And, as a Cast Member of Walt Disney World in Orlando she designed and delivered business programs at the Disney Institute.
