Frank Cappiello

Frank A. Cappiello is one of the country's leading financial analysts. An expert on the national economy and a recognized authority on investments, he is best known for his regular panelist appearances on the award--winning television program Wall $treet Week With Louis Rukeyser.

His background in finance and economics is extensive. For more than 12 years he was Chief Investment Officer for an insurance holding company with overall responsibility for managing assets of $800 million. Prior to that, he was the Research Director of a major stock brokerage firm.

He is President of an investment counseling firm: McCullough, Andrews & Cappiello, Inc., an investment counseling firm in San Francisco with assets under management of more than $1 billion. He is also the Chairman of Closed-End Fund Advisors which provides investment management services utilizing mutual funds, and Real Estate Investment Trusts to smaller-sized portfolios including individual, pension and profit sharing clients. He helped organize and served as a Director/Advisor of a successful venture capital fund that was later sold to a "Fortune 1000" company. He is founder and past President of The Bank of Maryland; now part of Mason-Dixon Bancshares.

In 1991, Cappiello was inducted into the Wall $treet Week Hall of Fame, joining the then eight other guests (out of a total of more than 800 who have appeared on the program since 1970) including: Malcolm Forbes, John Templeton, Merryle Rukeyser, Peter Lynch, and Dr. Milton Freidman.

He is the author of four books and has lectured at universities and for corporate audiences across the country. He has been a frequent guest on ABC’s Good Morning America, CNN and CNBC. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Harvard University’s Graduate School of Business Administration.
