AV Needs

The meeting facility and room set-up can either enhance the impact of a great speech or sabotage it. Our room set-up and audio/visual requests are offered with Erik Wahl’s ultimate goal of personally connecting with your audience, inspiring them to take action, and making the program a unique and entertaining experience. What follows is our "Wish List." We certainly don’t want to make work for you but we do appreciate your attention to detail and your willingness to partner with us in creating the very best program for your audience.

- Cordless lapel or lavaliere microphone. Erik would like the freedom to move on the stage and within the meeting room. (If the room & audience are small enough, a microphone will not be used.) A second microphone will be needed for the introducer.

- LCD Projector for a PowerPoint presentation. The projector must be compatible with a Macintosh PowerBook G4 computer. We will provide the computer and the remote control. We prefer an InFocus model 6750 or other high-end projector. The PowerPoint presentation includes sound clips so a "sound patch" from the computer will also be required. The projector should be placed on an elevated tripod and set up so the image is shot over the people’s heads and fills the projection screen.

- Sound System. The sound system requires a connection to the headphone jack output on Erik’s computer to plug into a the speakers. The strength and quality of the sound plays a subtle yet critical role in the impact of Erik’s program. We strongly recommend speakers sufficient to fill the entire room with a full concert sound. (A simple 1/8th inch headphone jack connection to the house sound system is sufficient)
