Me to We:
Finding Meaning in a Material World
For everyone who has ever yearned for a better life and a better world, Craig and Marc Kielburger share a blueprint for personal and social change that has the power to transform lives one act at a time. Through inspirational contributions from people from all walks of life and moving stories drawn from more than a decade of their experience as international change-makers, the Kielburgers reveal that a more fulfilling path is ours for the taking when we find the courage to reach out.
Me to We is an approach to life that leads us to recognize what is truly valuable, make new decisions about the way we want to live, and redefine the goals we set for ourselves and the legacy we want to leave. Above all, it creates new ways of measuring meaning, happiness, and success in our lives, and makes these elusive goals attainable at last.
After you`ve absorbed the ideas presented in this book, your life may not end up as you had envisioned. You may not acquire a house on a beach in the Caymans, but you may find your toes grounded in the sand. You may not see an enormous change in your social life, but in your life you may very well see enormous social change. You may not find the person of your dreams, but you will help people young and old go beyond their`s. This book will open your eyes and change the way you look at life. Treat it as an invitation: an invitation to discover the power of the Me to We philosophy and to join the growing community of people around the world who are embracing this way of life.
Me to We: Building Great Corporate Citizenship and Global Leadership
Today, great corporate citizenship is becoming more important than ever as people demand that the companies they buy from, work for and invest in recognize the importance of social responsibility.
What for-profit companies can learn from non-profit organizations
Most non-profit corporations have no product, operate on small budgets, offer no benefits and pay employees low salaries. How then are they attracting and retaining some of the best talent in the marketplace? Why are so many recent graduates and seasoned employees moving into nonprofits at the expense of the corporate sector? What can for-profit companies learn from non-profit organizations in terms of resource allocation, staff retention, strengthening morale and building a motivated workforce? Craig and Marc Kielburger founded one of the most successful international non-profit organizations in recent history. They will share with you what your company can learn from the best practices in the non-profit field to help retain and inspire your staff, engage your customers and help your company become more profitable.
Me to We: How to help employees find meaning in a material world
How can you find purpose in the workplace? How does a company inspire their employees to find meaning in the mundane? This speech will be an introduction to the powerful Me to We philosophy, developed by Craig and Marc Kielburger through more than a decade of humanitarian work. Me to We is the subject of their New York Times Best Seller which has already inspired hundreds of thousands of people and includes a specific emphasis on how to apply this philosophy within the corporate community. The speech helps to connect employees with your greater corporate mission and that of the world. The result is happier, more productive and engaged employees and dedicated, brand-loyal customers.
Corporate social responsibility: The new black
What are the latest trends in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)? How can your company stay ahead of this cutting-edge area of corporate engagement? How can cause-related marketing help you connect with customers in a more meaningful way? This speech will look at how CSR is changing the way companies do business. Craig and Marc Kielburger bring insight from the non-profit side of the equation and share ideas for action with businesses. A strong CSR program has become a prerequisite for corporate success. Learn how your corporation, employees and management can lead in this emerging area of business.
Family event for client and staff appreciation
Give key clients and employees the greatest gift: touch the lives of their families. Marc and Craig share inspirational and touching stories from their travels and prove that no one is too young to make a world of difference. A message appropriate to all ages, it is an opportunity for the whole family to have a meaningful experience together. They share lessons learned from spending time with Mother Teresa, the Dalai Lama and the countless children who have taught them the true meaning of compassion. Participants will leave with ideas for new family traditions of service, volunteerism and daily acts that better our communities.
